Cancellation Policy
We always strive to accommodate you and are happy to make changes to your schedule whenever possible. With one full business day's notice, it’s easy to fill any openings. Therefore, a cancellation fee will apply if you cancel an appointment 24 hours or less before your scheduled appointment time.
- 24 hours or less: A charge of 85% of the cost of the estimate will apply.
- 24 hours or more (two business days or more before the scheduled appointment): There will be NO CHARGE.
“Lockouts”
If a client isn’t home to let the cleaners in or if a key isn’t left as planned, the cleaners will wait up to 20 minutes to gain access to the premises. This wait time will be added to your bill. If access is not granted within 20 minutes, it will be considered a “LOCKOUT”, and you will be billed 100% of the cleaning cost.
We may also require two full business days’ notice for confirmation. If we contact you for confirmation and do not hear back within 48 hours, the appointment may no longer be available (NO CHARGE applies unless otherwise confirmed).
How Will the Cleaners Enter My House?
Most of our recurring clients leave us keys to access their homes. Others provide codes for keyless entry systems or lockboxes. All keys are kept on coded keychains in a secure lockbox located in a locked office. If you live in a building with a concierge, we can pick up the key at the front desk.
How Do I Pay for My Cleaning?
We accept cash and checks.

Terms and Conditions:
By scheduling an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms:
- If you are dissatisfied with our service, complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of the appointment to be considered for a discount or re-clean. Photographic evidence is required. Discounts will be at the manager’s discretion.
- Janna's Cleaning Service cancellation policy applies to all clients, new and existing.
- Clients are welcome to provide walkthroughs, suggestions, written notes, or prioritized task lists. However, clients must not follow or disturb the cleaners while they work.
- Any tasks not included in a standard cleaning must be requested during booking or at least two business days in advance. Extra tasks will only be completed if time allows.
- Cleaners will not lift objects heavier than 25 pounds. Heavy items (e.g., beds, refrigerators) must be moved prior to the appointment if cleaning behind them is desired.
- All communication and payments must go through Janna's Cleaning Service. Clients and cleaners may not exchange personal contact information or communicate outside of the company.
Conflict of Interest & NON-SOLICITATION POLICY:
Clients and former clients agree not to hire current or former employees of Janna’s Cleaning, LLC, for a period of 10 years from the employee’s last work date. Additionally, clients agree not to hire any family member or recommended replacement of a current or former employee of Janna’s Cleaning, LLC.
Should you choose to hire an employee, their family member, or a recommended replacement despite this agreement, a $2,500 referral fee will be due immediately upon employment and paid annually for the duration of the employee, family member or recommended replacement employment with the client.
